ASI Student Government Meetings Update

Previously scheduled meetings for the ASI Board of Directors, University Union Advisory Board, ASI Standing Committees (Internal Review, Recruitment and Elections, External Affairs, Diversity and Inclusion, and External Affairs), and ASI Ad Hoc meetings (ASI Elections Accessibility and Club Funding) are canceled the week of March 30–April 3, 2020. The cancellation of these meetings is due to the one-week postponement of spring quarter classes now beginning on Monday, April 6, 2020.

The following ASI Student Government meetings are canceled due to the postponement of spring quarter:

Monday, March 30
Internal Review Committee at 1 p.m.

Tuesday, March 31
Recruitment and Elections at 10 a.m.

Wednesday, April 1
External Affairs at 12 p.m.
Diversity and Inclusion at 2 p.m.
Ad Hoc — ASI Elections Accessibility at 4 p.m.
ASI Board of Directors at 5 p.m.

Thursday, April 2
University Union Advisory Board at 2 p.m.

Friday, April 3
Ad Hoc — Club Funding at 11 a.m.

At this time, we are evaluating the essential business that must still be conducted as part of our corporate responsibility to ASI, as well as our responsibility to represent and advocate on behalf of Cal Poly students. In the coming week, a more detailed schedule of meetings that will still be held will be provided, along with instructions on how they will take place virtually. The announcement of these meetings will also be posted on the ASI website and ASI social media channels.

At this point, the Board of Directors, UUAB, Business and Finance Committee, Internal Review Committee, and Recruitment and Elections Committee will be continuing into spring quarter due to their corporate nature. Other ASI standing committees and ad hocs are postponed indefinitely.
