As of June 15, 2021, participants are no longer required to complete health screenings prior to accessing this facility. Visit asi.calpoly.edu to learn more.
In accordance with Cal Poly COVID-19 screening and testing requirements, students must show a certified (green) Campus Pass before entering the Cal Poly Recreation Center. Any other pass will not be permitted entrance to the facility. For campus information and updates about COVID-19, please visit coronavirus.calpoly.edu.
Summer Quarter Hours
*Outdoor recreation facilities may be closed in the event of poor air quality or inclement weather. Closure notifications will be provided through ASI Access, the ASI website, Instagram, and Facebook. As ASI resets areas occupied by the County of San Luis Obispo.s Alternate Care Site, periodic closure of spaces will occur.

Poly Escapes Climbing Park

Reservations are required for group fitness classes. Reservations open one day in advance and are available during business hours only.
Members without Cal Poly Portal access, please call Membership Services at 805-756-1366 to request a reservation.
Arrive a minimum of five minutes before reserved class time to allow time for set up.
Members must sign the ASI Waiver of Liability and the COVID-19 Policies and Procedures Acknowledgment prior to first visit.
Members with My Cal Poly Portal access can do this through the ASI Access app. Download ASI Access in the App Store or Google Play.
Those without My Cal Poly Portal access may do this at the Membership Services desk at check-in.
Guidelines for Entrance & Policies
Do not enter the facility if you are exhibiting any flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Face coverings are required when inside the facility and when maintaining 6 feet of distance from others is not possible, including while actively exercising. *Lap pool excluded.
Members are required to arrive ready to exercise as locker rooms are unavailable.
Workout mats are not currently available, you must bring your own Yoga/Pilates mat.
In-person group fitness classes require a mat
Assist with cleanliness by washing your hands and using hand sanitizer, as needed.
